Leadership

Pastor: Ben Roby is originally from Mentor, Ohio. He moved to Ashland in 1995 and enrolled at Ashland University where he met his wife, Mary (Goad) Roby from Ashland. The two were very involved in the campus ministries of Ashland University. Mary served as a leader of HOPE Fellowship, while Ben was on the leadership team of Fellowship fo Christian Athletes. Ben and Mary became members of Heritage in 1998. They were wed in 1999 and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where Ben attended Southern Seminary. In 2000, Ben and Mary moved back to Ashland, and in June of 2001, Ben was called as the new pastor of Heritage. Today, Mary teaches for the Ashland City Schools and coordinates the Children's Church programs at Heritage. In addition to pastoring Heritage, Ben also serves as the Chaplain of Hospice of North Central Ohio and is also a campus minister with the Navigators at Ashland University.

Deacon: Jim Fox, along with his wife Carol, were 2 of the first 8 charter members when Heritage started in 1996. Jim has served faithfully as both the church's deacon and as the church treasurer for the last six years. Jim works for Ford Motor Company in Lorain, and Carol is very involved in the women's ministry at Heritage
